College credit is available for the Semester Study Abroad Programs and the Summer Study Abroad Programs only. The Summer Study Abroad Programs grant 6 credits for each 4-week cycle. The Semester Study Abroad Programs grant 12 credits for each trimester and 15 credits for each semester. Approval for credit transfer must be obtained by the student from the home university prior to departure from the USA. Securing written confirmation of this is strongly recommended. Course descriptions are available for the morning General French Programs only. No course descriptions are available for the afternoon electives since they change each session at the discretion of the instructor. All course work completed in France will appear on the student transcript. Requests for transcripts must be submitted to FAE along with photocopies of course work done abroad after successful completion of a program. Each student may receive one transcript free of charge. Any additional transcripts require a $20 fee per transcript.
